APPOINTS NEW FOOD & BEVERAGE MANAGER
Vancouver, British Columbia

The Sutton Place Hotel is pleased to announce the promotion of Chef
Wolfgang Dauke from the Hotel’s Pastry Chef to Food and Beverage
Manager.
Wolfgang began learning the art of
pastry in his homeland of Austria. From there, he traveled
throughout Europe and North America to develop the skills and
expertise that have helped him become the renowned Pastry Chef that
he is today.
Wolfgang's reputation as a “Master Chocolatier” extended to his
penchant for creating elaborate chocolate showpieces that have
graced the lobby level of The Sutton Place Hotel for years. The
ever-popular
Chocoholic Buffet is by far one of Wolfgang’s most prized
accomplishments! Throughout his many years here, Wolfgang has
played an instrumental role in maintaining The Sutton Place Hotel’s
reputation for high quality and service. Utilizing his leadership
skills and expertise, he managed a number of different departments
and outlets, including La Boulangerie and Stewarding. Needless to
say, his recent promotion to Food and Beverage Manager was a natural
role transition.
We are
delighted that Wolfgang has decided to retire his Chef’s hat and
take on the challenge of Managing our many food and beverage
outlets, which include; Room Service, Fleuri, Gerard Lounge, and Le
Boulangerie and look forward to benefiting from his tremendous
knowledge.
