Terms & Conditions:

 

• The Meeting Professional will be awarded Sutton Meeting Professional Points (MPP) for meetings booked, held and paid for in accordance with the contract.

 

• To qualify for MPP, Meeting Professionals must be a member of the program in good standing, and must be employed by the company hosting or the company that hosted or booked the meeting when the MPP are awarded.

 

• MPP will be awarded to new business only, on meetings and events booked and consumed after the Meeting Planner becomes a member of the program. MPP will not be awarded retroactively, for meetings and events that are booked or consumed prior to the Meeting Planner becoming a member of the program.

 

• MPP may be allocated to a maximum of three eligible Meeting Professionals.

 

• Meeting Professionals must provide his/her valid MPP membership number in the contract prior to the commencement of the contracted meeting.

 

• Meeting Professional is responsible for notifying his/her employer, principle and/or client of any MPP incentives received through contracting with The Sutton Place Hotel in Vancouver & Edmonton, and shall comply with any gift or incentive policies that may apply.

 

• Meeting Professional agrees to indemnify and hold harmless The Sutton Place Hotel in Vancouver & Edmonton, it subsidiaries and affiliates from any liability, costs and/or damages relating to claims of any third party arising from a failure to disclose the receipt of MPP or any other incentives.

 

• Excluding special promotions and incentives, one (1) Meeting Professional Point for every (3) three dollars spent is earned for every eligible group business, billed to the master account.

 

- All group room revenue

- All meeting room revenue

- All Catering F&B revenue (It is not necessary to consume room nights in conjunction with Catering F&B revenue to earn MPP)

 

• MPP is awarded based on all spend, exclusive of tax, DMF, gratuities and related charges.

 

• To earn MPP, group business must be contracted through the Sales & Catering office.

 

• MPP will be credited to the Sutton Meeting Professional after the meeting and/or event has been held and paid for in accordance with the contract.

 

• MPP will not be awarded on complimentary or contra room nights.

 

• The Sutton Place Hotel in Vancouver & Edmonton reserves the right to modify, change or terminate any of the terms and conditions of the program anytime, without notice.

 

• Redemption and use of MPP are subject to the terms and conditions of the Sutton Prestige Guest Reward Program.

 

• Any element of this program may be void where prohibited.  Subject to local laws, rules, regulations and tax restrictions.
