The Sutton Place Hotel Toronto

We’re excited to announce the arrival of our next hotel location – downtown Toronto. Serving as a contemporary landmark on the iconic corner of King Street West and Blue Jays Way, our downtown Toronto hotel stands proud among the buzz of the Toronto Entertainment District.

The hotel offers beautifully designed guest rooms and furnishings to help guests unwind during their stay, and we welcome guests to relax in luxurious comfort complemented by first-class onsite amenities. Guests will also find premium meetings and events space in downtown Toronto as well as unforgettable dining experiences at Abrielle, a beautiful coastal Mediterranean restaurant located in the hotel.

The Sutton Place Hotel Toronto is a name deep-rooted in history. The original location was one of Toronto’s most luxurious hotels and operated from 1967 to 2012. The hotel was known for being a combination of ‘old-world charm and space-age elegance’ and we look forward to bringing the history of the original hotel back to life through our new location.

We’re pleased to announce an exciting addition to The Sutton Place Hotels portfolio, coming soon to downtown Winnipeg at True North Square.

This purpose-built hotel is an integral part of the True North development concept and is connected by a +15 skyway to the Canada Life Centre, home of the Winnipeg Jets. Comprised of two exquisite towers (275 hotel rooms and 130 residences), this property will offer guests an indoor swimming pool, whirlpool, fitness centre, spa, conference facilities, a landscaped roof-top garden and an elaborate porte-cochère to both the hotel and residence towers.

True North Square will be a complete mixed-use complex that will change the landscape of downtown Winnipeg. “Our philosophy is ‘A Tradition of Luxury’, and that’s exactly what we’ll be bringing to Winnipeg,” said Tom Gaglardi, CEO of Northland Properties.

The Sutton Place Hotel Winnipeg is expected to open in 2025.

The Sutton Place Hotel Kelowna

Construction of our latest hotel is set to begin in 2023. The Sutton Place Hotel Kelowna will be located directly adjacent to Kelowna Airport’s terminal building with the aim of welcoming guests in 2026. “The Sutton Place Hotels are known for delivering an exceptional guest experience,” said Sam Samaddar, Kelowna Airport Director. “Their reputation will allow The Sutton Place Hotel at YLW to promote the Okanagan as a premier destination.”

The hotel will include a business centre, on-site dining, personal concierge services, bell-hop services, and meeting spaces for corporate and social events.

"We are excited about our new partnership with the team at the Kelowna International Airport, and we are confident this distinct destination and our elevated guest experience will appeal to visitors and locals alike," said Tom Gaglardi, CEO of Northland Properties.

"The Sutton Place Hotel Kelowna is a great addition to our family-owned portfolio of hotels, restaurants, resorts and sports assets."
