The Sutton Place Hotel Toronto

We’re excited to announce the arrival of our next hotel location – downtown Toronto. Serving as a contemporary landmark on the iconic corner of King Street West and Blue Jays Way, our downtown Toronto hotel stands proud among the buzz of the Toronto Entertainment District.

The hotel offers beautifully designed guest rooms and furnishings to help guests unwind during their stay, and we welcome guests to relax in luxurious comfort complemented by first-class onsite amenities. Guests will also find premium meetings and events space in downtown Toronto as well as unforgettable dining experiences at Abrielle, a beautiful coastal Mediterranean restaurant located in the hotel.

The Sutton Place Hotel Toronto is a name deep-rooted in history. The original location was one of Toronto’s most luxurious hotels and operated from 1967 to 2012. The hotel was known for being a combination of ‘old-world charm and space-age elegance’ and we look forward to bringing the history of the original hotel back to life through our new location.

This purpose-built hotel is an integral part of the True North development concept and is connected by a +15 skyway to the Canada Life Centre, home of the Winnipeg Jets. Comprised of two exquisite towers (275 hotel rooms and 130 residences), this property will offer guests an indoor swimming pool, whirlpool, fitness centre, spa, conference facilities, a landscaped roof-top garden and an elaborate porte-cochère to both the hotel and residence towers.

True North Square will be a complete mixed-use complex that will change the landscape of downtown Winnipeg. “Our philosophy is ‘A Tradition of Luxury’, and that’s exactly what we’ll be bringing to Winnipeg,” said Tom Gaglardi, CEO of Northland Properties.

The Sutton Place Hotel Winnipeg is expected to open in 2025.
