Mount Revelstoke National Park

Nearby, you’ll find great, seasonal hiking at Mount Revelstoke National Park. Founded in 1914, this gem of the area is only 6 km from Sandman Hotel Revelstoke, offers a stunning drive up the mountain, with sightseeing stops along the way. It makes for a day filled with breathtaking views and a nice way to get up above it all

Capilano Suspension Bridge and Park

Give yourself a 230-foot view of the Capilano River when you make the 25-minute taxi ride or free shuttle ride from The Sutton Place Hotel Vancouver to Capilano Suspension Bridge and park. Built in 1889, it’s considered to be Vancouver’s oldest attraction, and it hasn’t lost a step in its popularity. Be sure to explore the totem poles in the park, too.

Revelstoke Nordic Club

If you’re looking for something that isn’t a downhill descent, make your way 16 km from The Sutton Place Hotel Revelstoke Mountain Resort and experience the very best in cross country skiing and snowshoeing. Located at the base of Mount Macpherson, the Revelstoke Nordic Ski Club has 26 km of machine groomed trails and a 4.5 km snowshoe trail. 

Downtown Revelstoke

Not too far from The Sutton Place Hotel Revelstoke Mountain Resort is the always inviting atmosphere of downtown Revelstoke. Its picturesque and charming vibe makes this a spot where you want to spend some downtime after your downhill time. Almost all of the restaurants and shops are locally owned and operated. Popular Mackenzie Avenue offers up craft breweries, distilleries, art galleries and more. Of course, don’t miss the Revelstoke Museum & Archives and Railway Museum.

Ski Touring

Located only 45 minutes from The Sutton Place Hotel Revelstoke Mountain Resort, you’ll find world-class skiing touring terrain in Rogers Pass, Glacier National Park. This epic area receives more than 40 feet of powder annually. We highly recommend that you hire a guide if you’re new to the area.

From lift-accessed downhill rides right at Revelstoke Mountain to another downhill course at Boulder Mountain, and even heli-drops on Mount Cartier. 

White Water Rafting

Just 10 minutes from The Sutton Place Hotel Revelstoke Mountain Resort are some of the very best white water rafting companies. Get your adrenaline pumping in the rapids, some as high as class 4. You’ll make your way down the Illecillewaet River and revel in the stunning scenery of the Columbia Mountains. 

Golf
