Hot Springs

Not all of the things to do in Revelstoke in winter are high-octane. Bring it down a notch and find time to relax in one of the area’s incredible hot springs. There are several hot springs located around Revelstoke, some of which are free. We’d recommend Halcyon Hot Springs or Canyon Hot Springs. The latter is only about a 20-minute drive from town. Admission is $12.50 CAD and waters are 40°C in the Hot Mineral Soaking Pool and 32°C in the swimming pool. Halfway River Hot Springs is the perfect choice for a more wilderness hot springs vibe. It’s managed by BC Parks and so it’s free, however, the access road is closed in winter. This means that it’s about a 12 km snowshoe each way on the FSR forest service road. On the plus side, your chances of solitude are much greater!
