Toronto Pride - Free Weddings at Sutton Place

The Sutton Place Hotel Toronto and Abrielle have partnered with The Pop-Up Chapel Co. to host a limited series of mini weddings this pride. On June 27 and June 28, there will be 14 wedding spots available for couples who want something beautifully done without the pressure of a traditional wedding. This experience is created to celebrate all forms of love, with a focus on couples in the LGBTQIA2S+ community who want a space where they feel safe, seen, and celebrated.

Each couple will have a dedicated ceremony, followed by a post-ceremony reception to celebrate with their guests. There’s also a private holding room to settle in beforehand, along with styled photo moments throughout the space that capture both the occasion and the energy of Pride. Abrielle will be curating the food and beverage experience, with canapés, wine, and beer included, as well as a sparkling toast.

In addition to this, all selected couples will be in with the chance of winning a honeymoon experience. One couple will be selected to receive a one-night stay at The Sutton Place Hotel Toronto, along with breakfast in bed from Abrielle the following morning.

For couples who have been thinking about getting married but haven’t found the right way to do it, this offers something simple and well considered. It removes the pressure of planning while still holding on to everything that makes a wedding feel special.

Applications are now open until May 21 at 11:59pm, and with limited spots available, it’s worth applying early.
